Aviation Assembly Technician

This program provides a comprehensive, action-based foundation of knowledge and experiences for a career in Aviation Assembly,

Target Group: 9th Grade Students

Credits: Four Elective Credits (one year program)

Numerous projects involving kites, hot air balloons, parachutes, gliders, aircraft powered and non-powered models, weather stations and wind tunnels are used throughout the curriculum to demonstrate concepts and enhance understandings.  This program focuses on proper preparation for the Aviation Maintenance Technician program, utilizing many of the same teaching methodologies and forms of practice.
